Short links + custom slugs
Auto-generated 6-character slugs, or custom slugs with plan-aware minimum length. Reserved-route protected, normalized to lowercase, validated server-side.
No commitment. You get a written brief with prioritized fixes.
Trakl is a SaaS link shortener with built-in UTM management, per-link click analytics, campaign workspaces, link health monitoring, and a branded QR code studio. It replaces the spreadsheet of half-tagged campaign URLs that most marketing teams accumulate, and gives you a single workspace for URL shortening, link tagging, source attribution, and click tracking. Built by the Digital King team to fix our own UTM hygiene mess across multi-brand engagements, now in production for any operator running multi-channel campaigns.
Trakl is a SaaS link shortener with built-in UTM management, per-link analytics, and campaign workspaces. It generates short links with structured UTM source, medium, and campaign tags, tracks clicks by referrer, device, browser, and country, organizes links into campaigns with source-contribution rollups, monitors link health, and exports branded QR codes. It replaces the spreadsheet of half-tagged campaign URLs that most marketing teams accumulate over time.
A typo in a campaign tag, a missing source, a copy-paste from a different channel, and the data team spends Friday afternoon reconciling reports that should have just been right. We were doing this across a multi-brand portfolio and decided to fix it.
Trakl is the workspace we wished existed. Generate links from a guided builder, track each one's performance, surface the ones that are quiet or broken before they bleed budget. The same tool we use on every paid engagement, available for any operator who wants their attribution to actually match their P&L.
No bloat. Each feature exists because operators kept asking for it. The full list is on the live app.

A simple wizard with a curated UTM source / medium taxonomy for the most common channels, plus an advanced mode for the full form. Smart defaults pulled from your past campaigns.
Clicks over time, referrers, devices, browsers, OS, and country breakdowns. Free plan gets the last seven days; Starter and Pro get the full history.
Links aggregated by UTM campaign with source-contribution breakdowns. See which channel actually drove results instead of guessing from the channel that was loudest.
Automatically surfaces missing-UTM, quiet, and never-used links with severity (Risk / Watch / Healthy) so housekeeping happens before it becomes a mess.
Per-link QR codes with logo upload, customizable dot and corner shapes, color, and error correction. Pro plan removes the watermark.
Stop pasting raw UTM strings into ad accounts. Get a clean library of campaigns and proper attribution without enterprise pricing.
Centralize link generation across client engagements. Per-client workspaces, role-based access, exportable reports.
Tag every email, SMS, organic post, and paid ad. Track which channel actually drove the order without losing fidelity in the funnel.
Most users land somewhere on this list. The product was built for the campaign-tracking pain that all four of these personas share.
You run paid social, email, and organic for a small brand. Every channel needs its own UTM string and you keep mistyping campaign names. Trakl gives you a guided builder, a library of past campaigns to reuse, and per-link analytics that show which channel actually drove the click.
Each client has their own campaign taxonomy. You need clean per-client workspaces, exportable reports for monthly QBRs, and a way to keep junior team members from torching UTM hygiene. Trakl handles separation of concerns and produces audit-ready reports.
You optimize against blended ROAS and need to know which traffic source actually drove the order. Trakl tags every link from email, SMS, organic post, and paid ad, and the per-link analytics close the loop on attribution down to the click.
You speak at conferences, drop links in podcasts, and share QR codes on slides. Each placement needs its own tracking. Trakl generates branded short links and QR codes per placement so you can see which channel drove sign-ups.
There's no shortage of link-shortening or campaign-tracking software. Here's the honest comparison so you can decide whether Trakl actually fits your workflow.
Bitly is the incumbent for short links and most operators recognize the brand. Trakl differs by bundling UTM management, campaign workspaces, and link health into the core product instead of selling them as separate enterprise add-ons.
Rebrandly leads on custom domains and branded link management. Trakl trades a more polished custom-domain experience for tighter campaign analytics and a UTM builder operators actually want to use day to day.
Most teams start here. The spreadsheet works for the first month, breaks once two people are editing it, and quietly stops working when nobody updates the campaign log. Trakl is the workspace that replaces it without forcing a change-management ritual.
Trakl handles UTM tagging and click attribution on the way in. SenseiAds handles search-terms hygiene and negative-keyword cleanup on the spend side. Together they cover both sides of the Google Ads attribution loop. Both tools are built and maintained by the Digital King team.
See SenseiAdsIf you hire us for any of the services below, Trakl is part of how we run them. You get a workspace seat, the same access we use, no separate license.
Closed-loop attribution starts with clean campaign tagging. We use Trakl to keep UTM hygiene tight on every engagement.
Every campaign we run goes through Trakl for link generation and per-source attribution. No copy-pasting raw UTM strings into Google or Meta.
Multi-channel orchestration needs multi-channel measurement. Trakl is the workspace where channels meet in the data.
Both. Trakl combines short-link generation, UTM tagging, per-link analytics, and campaign workspaces into one product. The point of the bundle is that link shortening without UTM hygiene gives you fast links that no analytics tool can read, and UTM hygiene without link shortening gives you readable links that are too long to share. You need both to track campaign performance properly.
Trakl is built and maintained by the Digital King team. It started as an internal tool for our agency engagements where we were managing UTM hygiene across multi-brand portfolios. We rebuilt it as a standalone SaaS so other operators could use the same workspace.
Bitly and Rebrandly are both excellent at short-link generation. Trakl differs by bundling UTM management, campaign workspaces, link health monitoring, and a QR studio into the base product instead of gating them behind enterprise tiers. For agencies and operators running multi-channel campaigns, the bundle is the reason to switch.
Custom domains are listed on the Trakl roadmap. Free and Starter plans use trakl.app/<slug> short links. Pro plan will get custom-domain support when it ships.
No. Trakl hashes IP addresses with SHA-256 and a per-environment salt, then discards the raw IP. The hash lets us count unique clicks without retaining the underlying address. Browser, OS, country, and referrer are tracked at the aggregate level only.
Yes on Starter and Pro plans. CSV export is available for individual link analytics and campaign rollups. The Free plan gets the in-app dashboards but not CSV export.
Sign up at trakl.app, paste your destination URL, and Trakl generates a short link with a guided UTM builder for the source, medium, and campaign tags. The Free plan is genuinely useful. Most users start there and only upgrade once they need more than 50 active links or full analytics history.
